Screention is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux. You can download the latest version from our GitHub Releases page.

Download Latest Version

Get the installer for your OS (v0.4.0)

Windows

  1. Download the installer (.exe) file.
  2. Double-click the file to run the installer.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
  4. Screention will launch automatically after installation.

macOS

  1. Download the disk image (.dmg) file.
  2. Open the .dmg file.
  3. Drag the Screention app to your Applications folder.
  4. Launch Screention from your Applications folder or Spotlight.
On first launch, you might see a security warning since the app is not notarized yet. You can open it by right-clicking the app and selecting “Open”.

Linux

We provide AppImage and DEB packages for Linux distributions.

AppImage (Universal)

  1. Download the .AppImage file.
  2. Make it executable: 
    chmod +x Screention-v0.4.0.AppImage
  3. Run the AppImage: 
    ./Screention-v0.4.0.AppImage

DEB (Debian/Ubuntu)

  1. Download the .deb file.
  2. Install using dpkg or your package manager: 
    sudo dpkg -i screention_0.4.0_amd64.deb

Updates

Screention currently checks for updates on startup. When a new version is available, you will be notified to download the latest release.
