Settings

Access the Settings page by clicking the Settings tab in the main window sidebar.

Startup Behavior

Launch at startup: Toggle this ON to have Screention start automatically when you log in.
The app starts in a “hidden” state, minimized to your system tray, ready to capture.

Customize the key combination used to trigger a screenshot.

Click the Change button (Lime green).
The input field will flash “Press keys…”.
Press your desired combination (e.g., Ctrl + Shift + S).
- Note: You must include at least one non-modifier key.
Release the keys to save.

Your custom hotkey is saved automatically and will persist even after you restart the application.
